

Wole Ajewole is the Managing Partner of Wole Ajewole and Company. He graduated from the prestigious University of Ilorin in 2002 and was called to the Nigeria Bar after attending the Nigeria Law School. He bagged a Masters in Law (LL.M) from University of Ibadan, Nigeria in year 2018.

He started his career in year 2004 at Elshalomi & Company, a vibrant law firm at Tafawa Balawa Square (TBS) in Lagos State where he was involved in active litigation, commercial practice and immigration matters. However, later in 2004, Wole joined the firm of Bamidele Aturu and Company in Surulere, Lagos State, a full time litigation firm with biases for labour, human rights, industrial and commercial matters..
Wole, in his quest for knowledge and experience in legal environment joined the firm of Emeka Etiaba & Company (SAN) in Ikoyi, Lagos State in 2006. He was involved in the preparation and registration of property instruments at the Lands Registry, Corporate Affairs Commission and liaised with various Government Agencies on issues relating to the acquisition of Properties by various clients of the firm. .

Wole was a member of the team that handled the initial offer of May and Baker Pharmaceuticals and represented Ibeto Cement Plc from being wound up by a leading commercial bank in Nigeria. He was involved in detailed due diligence and legal advisory relating to acquisition of properties for Financial Institutions and their customers, preparation and review of property instruments as well as the perfection process (assignments, leases, mortgages, debentures etc) in various Lands Registry and Courts nationwide. In addition, he was saddled with the responsibility of resolving issues revolving around banking instruments, properties of corporate and individual clients so acquired, ranging from the issue of title, encroachment, obtaining approved building plan, compliance and general litigation arising therefrom. In 2007, he migrated to one of the oldest firm in Nigeria, A. Marinho and Company located at Campbell Street, Lagos Island, Lagos State. A. Marinho and Company is a firm of Corporate Finance, Insurance and general civil legal services. Wole was exposed to litigations in all Courts, attended to various individual and corporate clients and ensured their challenges and issues were resolved and interest protected. Having obtained cognate experience in active legal practice, he fully understands the workings and expectations of corporate and financial institutions in particular in relation to legal transactions.
